Client Services Director

Exciting times are underway for this rapidly growing digital learning provider that works with some of the world's most recognised brands. In  this position, as Director of Client Services you will play a  critical role in the on-going support of some fantastic clients and you will assist in growing the client base so as to increase the opportunities this company is able to present.

You will have a thorough understanding of the L&D market and with this knowledge, you will be able to connect and consult with new and existing clients, understanding their unique needs and developing talent solutions to meet them. As well as boosting  brand awareness, this role will identify new business opportunities. By utilising account development strategies and providing exceptional customer service, you will create long-lasting, profitable relationships with clients.  

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will include:

  • Strategy development
  • Client relationship management
  • Proposal and bid writing
  • Pitching services to clients – including senior stakeholders
  • Consulting with clients on their L&D needs
  • Leading and managing the Client Services Team (team of 5)

You will:

  • Oversee the delivery of all client services related components of the organisation’s strategy, working with the leadership team to ensure it remains fit for purpose for key markets.
  • Head up the client services team with responsibility for the strategy, budget, projects, performance and management of staff within that team.
  • Lead on the delivery of projects and client invoicing against monthly revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Demonstrate excellent corporate relationship management skills, extending to senior stakeholder level.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, ensuring consistently high standards of service and innovative products and solutions are offered to our clients.
  • Evaluate the delivery of projects using a range of data, tools and metrics and feedback to the team.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to continually review and adapt client services processes to ensure the team is working as agile as possible.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the client services team, liaising directly with clients and suppliers where needed.
  • Work directly with clients to recommend digital learning and performance solutions that meet their organisational goals.
  • Respond to requests for proposals/tenders, develop presentations and pitch to existing and potential new clients.
  • Identify opportunities within current clients and potential new relationships to support revenue growth.
  • Work with the talent team to identify emerging talent needs, capacity requirements for existing skills and support and resources to ensure our clients receive exemplar solutions and service levels.
  • Keep abreast of best practice in the digital learning market and solutions, to provide trusted advice and insights to clients and prospects and contribute to the development of your offering.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the digital learning space – including different forms of learning, learning platforms and authoring tools, in a sales or production role.
