Instructional Designer
Remote - London Offices

A wonderful opportunity awaits an engaging and credible Instructional Designer who has a passion for designing relevant and inspiring e-learning content to join this lively, fun team. Within this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts, identifying requirements, learning objectives, writing storyboards and using rapid development tools including Rise, Storyline, PDF etc to create video based learning material.
You will have knowledge of adult learning principles and theories and more importantly, have the ability to apply these practically to e-learning design.
This is a role which relies heavily upon very strong communication and consultative skills, you will lead meetings with stakeholders and be adept in taking complex learning projects through to their successful completion.
You will:
- Undertake instructional design across multiple projects
- Consult with stakeholders on project goals and requirements - Providing regular updates and reports to clients and project managers
- Manage subject matter expertise/research content where necessary
- Produce and maintain key content documentation including content outlines, storyboards, asset lists, transcripts and conduct product testing
- Build e-learning using rapid tools when required
- Commission graphics/artwork/video production/technical development as appropriate in liaison with colleagues in the development team
You will have:
- Excellent writing skills, with attention to detail
- First class listening and questioning skills
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of a broad range of learning technologies
- Wide ranging knowledge of e-learning design and development approaches
- Experience of using Authoring Tools especially Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills and a commercial focus is a must
- Ability to work independently and to use own initiative
- The ability to juggle and keep all the balls in the air
- Knowledge of accredited training is desirable
